I'm not a fan of this type movie but I must admit that I was blown away by the special effects, computerized animation, 3-D, etc. Avatar will easily win the production awards (special effects, editing, sound, etc.). I will also be surprised if it does not win Best Picture. Hollywood usually rewards commercial success. Also, this film showcases the tremendous creative talent and resources in the industry. I feel sorry for the other nominated films. There are several good ones, but they picked the wrong year to be released.

Yeah, it was quite a neat experience viewing the incrediable animation in 3-d. i enjoyed it!
